The founder

Hi, I'm Kaitlyn. I built this because I was tired of getting off planes looking like a crime scene.

I'm 25, based in Queensland, Australia, and I fly a lot further than is reasonable for someone who complains about it as much as I do.

Layover is not a brand meeting. There's no team, no investors, no committee deciding what shade of beige the box should be. It's me, a carry-on, and a very specific grudge against the neck pillow industry.

Every kit is one I've actually packed and used at 38,000ft, on real flights, in the seat I paid for. If something in a kit didn't earn its place in my own bag, it isn't in yours.

How it started

Hour nineteen.

Somewhere over the Indian Ocean I did the maths. I had a bad pillow I'd panic-bought at the gate, no mask, one earplug, and a face that had given up around hour nine. I'd spent more on the flight than on rent and I was going to walk into arrivals looking like I'd been through something.

The annoying part is that all of it was solvable. Not with one magic product, with six small ones I never remembered to buy separately, and never would.

So I put them in a kit. That's the entire business.

Longest single flight
24 hours
Kits tested at altitude
3
Neck pillows returned
Too many
Times I've landed wrecked
Every one before this

Things I believe

Non-negotiables.

What I'll always tell you

The unflattering bits, up front.

Shipping is 10 to 20 days right now. I don't hold stock yet, because I'd rather find out what people actually want than buy a container of something nobody uses. That's on every product page, not buried in a policy.

When a kit earns it, it comes in properly: better packaging, faster delivery, the works. Until then I'd rather be slow and honest than fast and vague.

I answer the DMs. There is no support team. It is just me, usually in an airport.
